Blue Ridge Community Library is a member of The Regional Automation Consortium (TRAC) and of The Alberta Library (TAL), giving our patrons access to 15 million items in Alberta libraries.

Residents of Woodlands County may acquire a library card (no charge) provided that proper identification is shown.

Your library card is an Alberta Library card, and as such, can be used to borrow and return books at any Alberta Library.

 NO CHARGE FOR MEMBERSHIPS.

Valid for one full year from the date of issue, renew at the library. Patrons under the age of 16 must have a parent/guardian sign the membership application at the library. There is a waiver form which must be signed as well if you are allowing your child to use the internet at the library.

Your card is your key to online access - with the barcode and your four digit PIN number, you may search our catalogue, request or renew  materials, use the online databases, access WiFi at the library and more.

The loan period for books is 3 weeks; DVDs, videos and current magazines are lent for a 1 or 2 week period.

If you lose your library card please contact the library immediately to avoid the unauthorized use of your library card.

If you move or change your phone number please notify us as soon as possible in order to keep your file up to date.

TECHNOLOGY IN THE LIBRARY

There are 5 public access computers available, with high speed internet. Computer use is free, print, fax and copy is available at cost. WiFi available- no charge, membership is not required. A waiver for children under 16 must be signed by a guardian. WiFi available, log in with your library barcode, or ask for a temporary password.
Industry Canada, Aplen/CAP and the Government of Alberta all support the Community Access Program (CAP).
