The Blue Ridge Public Library has a home in the BRIAR Patch. Formerly the Blue Ridge School, this building is now becoming a mall-like facility in the heart of this historic hamlet. Settled in the early 1920’s next to the new railroad, Blue Ridge’s population currently hovers around 230 well-read people. The forestry, agriculture and petroleum industries provide job opportunities in scenic Woodlands County .
